Practice Time Contest!
Starting February 1st, all Music Abode students will have the opportunity to participate in a practicing contest!
Since February is a 4-lesson month for all days, this contest will be equal for all students no matter what day their lesson falls on. If you are interested in having your child participate let your instructor know and they will log all practice times each week at their lesson.
Students will need to report a weekly practice log signed by their parent that notes total practice time completed by date. We will keep a running total of the top five students on this blog updated weekly.
At the end of the month the student with the most practice minutes officially logged will win a $15 iTunes gift card!

Top student after week one: Taylor Cole with 240 minutes! Daylene Higgins in 2nd place with 200 minutes!
Keep up the great work everyone!
There will also be a special award to the most improved practicing efforts, even if you aren’t in the top minutes, if I can see an improvement in your practicing, you could also win!
Update: Paulo Camon is now in second place for week one with 205 minutes!
The practice competition has come to a close. The amount of effort and support from students and their families has been tremendous! No matter the outcome, every participant improved their skills a huge amount last month. I am such a proud teacher and so thankful to have the most wonderful students!
